MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

The 2024-2025 school year marks my 15th as the Superintendent of the Northampton Area School District. With that being said, I am extremely proud of the progress the District has made over those years.

During those 15 years, the District has made advancements in communication, curriculum, extra curricular activities, facilities, finances, safety/security, technology, and transportation. I am looking forward to continued growth in all areas of the District this school year.

Moving forward, the District will focus on five (5) main goals this school year. These goals will build upon our accomplishments and allow us to remain a top school district in the Lehigh Valley:

  1. Enhance educational opportunities in all academic areas with a focus on literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, and special education

  2. Implement the Northampton Area School District Profile of a Graduate to include College Career Readiness, WorkPlace Development, and Community Partnerships

  3. Finalize and communicate Capital Projects, student enrollment, and financial impact on the District

  4. Review and enhance safety plans, policies, and resources in collaboration with staff, students, community members, and first responders

  5. Collaborate with the District’s new transportation provider to provide a smooth transition for all District students and parents

These five (5) goals will not be the only focus this school year. We will continue to look at ways to improve the entire organization so that students can reach their full potential. With your support and by working together as we have done over the years, the District, students, and community will continue to advance and be able to meet the challenges in today’s and future societies.

I am looking forward to a successful and productive 2024-2025 school year.
