Welcome to Moore Elementary School!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Moore Elementary School.  I hope that you had a wonderful summer and enjoying the new school year!  Our Faculty and Staff worked very hard to prepare the classrooms and building for you, and we are looking forward to seeing you challenge yourselves in all that you do this school year.

Now for some information about Moore Elementary School!

Our PTA has always supported many of our student activities over the years.  They have continually provided volunteers, as well as monetary support to enhance our educational programming.  We are looking forward to continuing this great partnership.  We strongly encourage you to become a member of the Moore PTA, and actively involve yourselves in our school.

Moore Elementary School utilizes School-Wide Positive Behavior Support that we call “Moore Pride” and Olweus Bullying-Prevention program, as a two ways of promoting positive student behavior and a strong anti-bullying message to our students and community.  We will continue to work to ensure that Moore is a bully-free school, and one in which our students feel safe and comfortable to attend and learn within.  Our goal will be to continue to foster an environment of mutual respect for all people; regardless of their race, nationality, culture, religion, etc.

At Moore Elementary, as well as throughout the Northampton Area School District, the administration, faculty and staff, in cooperation with the parents and community, will continue to work tirelessly to meet the needs of each student who enters our doors.  At Moore, we are proud of our academic achievements, and our commitment to a team effort and academic excellence has - and always will be - our top priority!  I look forward to serving the students and the Moore community as your Principal for this year, and many years to come.  Welcome to Moore Elementary School, home of the Mountain Lions!
